PCEA Kahawa Farmers Church

The church's high ceiling and extensive hard surfaces created significant reflections and reverberation, letting sound linger far longer than desired. This reduced speech intelligibility and the clarity of music and amplified sound, so the congregation could not perceive sound evenly across the room.

An acoustic ceiling solution using Rockfon Arctic tiles was designed and implemented as the key element of the sound-management strategy. It provides absorption across the large overhead surface, reducing the reflections that drove excessive reverberation, and was carefully integrated into the existing architecture to preserve the room's bright, open character.
