Boardroom and conference room audio in Kenya
Conference audio that lets every voice be heard in the room and on the call: microphones, DSP, echo cancellation, loudspeakers and room acoustics, designed together.
Good conference audio means everyone in the room, and everyone on the call, hears every word without echo, raised voices or “can you repeat that?” Sound Creations designs and installs boardroom and conference room audio in Kenya, combining Bose Professional conferencing products, the right microphones, digital signal processing (DSP) and room acoustics into one working system.
Bose Professional, supplied locally
Bose Professional lists Sound Creations Ltd, Mpaka Plaza, Mpaka Road, Westlands, Nairobi as its sales office for Kenya on its Global Sales Offices page. Our Brands page covers Bose Professional loudspeakers, DSP and conferencing systems. That means genuine products, manufacturer warranty and local support from the team that designs and installs them.
What a good conferencing system includes
- Microphones that suit the room. Ceiling microphones keep tables clear and cover the room evenly; table or boundary microphones suit smaller rooms and fixed seating; gooseneck microphones suit formal council or board layouts. The choice depends on room size, ceiling height and how people sit.
- DSP with acoustic echo cancellation (AEC). Without echo cancellation, far-end participants hear their own voices returned from your loudspeakers. A properly tuned DSP removes this, manages levels automatically and reduces background noise.
- Even loudspeaker coverage. Ceiling or wall loudspeakers placed so every seat hears remote participants clearly, at a comfortable level.
- Room acoustics. Hard glass walls, tiled floors and bare ceilings create reverberation that no microphone can fully fix. Treating the room is often the single biggest improvement in call quality. See Acoustics.
- Video-call compatibility. The system connects by USB or through a room PC or codec to the video platforms your organisation uses, such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
- Simple control. One-touch start, mute and volume, so meetings start on time without a technician.

Frequently asked questions
Why do people on our video calls hear an echo?
The far end is hearing its own voice come back through your room's microphones after it plays from your loudspeakers. Acoustic echo cancellation in a properly tuned DSP removes this. A reverberant room makes it worse, so acoustic treatment often helps too.
Ceiling microphones or table microphones: which is better?
Ceiling microphones keep the table clear and suit flexible layouts. Table or boundary microphones are closer to talkers and suit smaller rooms or fixed seating. The right answer depends on ceiling height, room acoustics and how people sit, which we assess on site.
Will the system work with Microsoft Teams or Zoom?
Conference audio normally connects by USB or through a room PC or codec, so it works with the video platform your organisation runs. We confirm compatibility for the specific products and platforms before you buy.
Can you upgrade our existing boardroom instead of replacing everything?
Often, yes. Adding echo-cancelling DSP, better microphones or some acoustic treatment can transform an existing room. We survey what you have and recommend the smallest change that solves the problem.
Do you supply Bose Professional conferencing products in Kenya?
Yes. Bose Professional lists Sound Creations Ltd, Mpaka Plaza, Westlands, Nairobi, as its Kenya sales office. We supply, install and support Bose Professional products with manufacturer warranty.
Does the room itself affect call quality?
Yes, a lot. Glass, tile and bare plaster reflect sound and make voices distant and unclear for remote participants. Absorptive ceilings or wall panels shorten reverberation and make microphones work far better.
