ACCOUSTIC PROCESS

Sound Creations’ consultants can evaluate and analyze different spaces to develop acoustic criteria as well as evaluate their achievement with utmost accuracy using advance acoustic testing and measurement equipment.

What we can measure and test

Reverberation time is the time required for the sound to “fade away” or decay in a closed space. Sound in a room will repeatedly bounce off surfaces such as the floor, walls, ceiling, windows etc. When these reflections mix, a phenomenon known as reverberation is created. The reverberation time (RT60) of a room or space is defined as the time it takes for sound to decay by 60dB.
Sound Insulation (commonly referred to as ‘soundproofing’) refers to the overall ability of a building element or building structure to reduce the sound transmission through it. It is measured over a range of frequencies.
