Acoustic Panels and Ceilings

Acoustic panels and ceilings in Nairobi and across Kenya

Sound Creations supplies and installs acoustic wall panels and acoustic ceiling systems for churches, schools, offices, studios, hotels, restaurants and event venues across Kenya. We help you choose the right material for the room, work out how much treatment it needs and install it neatly, so the space looks finished and sounds clear.

Acoustic ceiling systems

• Rockfon stone wool ceilings: high sound absorption for worship spaces, offices, classrooms and public buildings
• Barrisol stretch ceilings: seamless acoustic and feature ceilings, including curved and backlit designs
• Asona seamless acoustic finishes: sprayed acoustic surfaces that look like plain plaster for clean architectural interiors

Acoustic wall panels

• Fabric-finished and decorative absorber panels to reduce echo
• Aid acoustic panels and ceiling systems for offices, studios and home theatres
• Bespoke shaped treatments designed around your interior

Projects using acoustic panels and ceilings

• PCEA Kahawa Farmers Church: a Rockfon acoustic ceiling that controls reverberation while keeping the room bright and open
• Sarit Expo Centre: acoustic wall panels, acoustical ceilings and acoustical dividing doors so concurrent events run without sound spilling between rooms
• West Nairobi School: tree-shaped absorbing wall treatment, a curved acoustic ceiling and a fully treated back wall in the auditorium

Getting the right amount of treatment

Too little treatment leaves a room echoey, and the wrong type can make it sound dull. We assess the room and, where needed, measure its reverberation time. Then we recommend the materials, quantities and positions that will make speech and music clear. For noise between rooms or to neighbours, see our acoustic treatment and soundproofing services.

Acoustic panel questions

Do acoustic panels soundproof a room?

No. Acoustic panels and ceilings reduce echo inside a room. Stopping sound passing between rooms needs sound isolation, which we design and install separately.

Can you supply panels for our own contractor to install?

Yes. We can supply materials only, or supply and install with our own team.

Prices depend on the material, area and finish, so we quote per project. Request a quote or book a site visit. Call or WhatsApp +254 715 754 758.
